Karen has been the welcoming face and friendly voice greeting patients since joining our practice in 2000. She is a key customer service point and helps patients take advantage of their insurance benefits. Known and admired for her exceptional level of service, Karen also loves spending time with her husband and three children, and working with her church and the Girl Scouts of America.
A long-time employee, Robin makes her patients feel so relaxed and comfortable, they frequently fall asleep in her chair! For Robin, providing gentle and thorough cleanings is a point of pride. She is referred to by co-workers as “the sweetest soul in the office.” Married with two children, Robin is active in her church and loves baking, exercising and spending time with the family. Working in dentistry since 1989, Barb joined our practice in 2000 after relocating from Alaska. One of the joys of her job is building relationships with patients. Her coworkers describe Barb as gentle, thorough, and cheerful. Married to her high school sweetheart for 40 years, Barb has two sons and three dogs. In addition to being with her family, Barb enjoys gardening, Pilates, cooking, and reading.
I joined the IDOC team in July of 2023 and am thrilled to be a part of this incredible team! I bring a genuine passion for people and a commitment to making a positive impact on our patients’ lives. I started on this journey with IDOC this year and, it has been an enriching experience ever since.
Outside of my professional life, I am a proud parent to a vibrant 5-year-old son who keeps me on my toes and brings endless joy to my life. As a family, we love exploring Charlotte, NC, and taking part in various activities that this wonderful community has to offer. Whether it’s a weekend outing, a cultural event, or simply enjoying quality time at home, family is at the center of my world.
I am genuinely excited about the journey ahead with IDOC and look forward to contributing to our success.
Victoria has been part of the practice since April 2021 and has made a warm impact on our patients. She is the first cheerful spirit received when you enter Inspired Dentistry. Victoria is an upcoming dental hygienist and is excited to grow within our practice. On her free time, she loves to work out, spend time with her family and fur babies. She is eager to see what the future holds.
Stacy is new to Inspired Dentistry of Charlotte however she is not new to dentistry. Stacy has worked in dentistry since 2002. She enjoys building relationships with our patients and making them feel well-cared for. Stacy is married and a proud mom of two adult children and one adorable golden doodle named Sailor. In her off time, she loves spending time with family and friends.
Dominica is one of our newer members to the IDOC family. She oversees all things involving our patients’ cases to our labs for fabrication. Dominica is also a cheerful and warm associate as she assist the Doctor and Hygiene team during appointments.
She loves being active in her church, reading, and spending time being a wife and mom.
Grisel, a native of Concord, NC, has been a dedicated Dental Assistant with Inspired Dentistry of Charlotte since 2020. She is passionate about dentistry and is continuing her education with the goal of becoming a Dental Hygienist. Outside of work, Grisel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, working out, and shopping.
Grisel, a native of Concord, NC, has been part of our team since 2020. Dentistry is her passion and she continues to pursue a career in the field as a practicing Dental Hygienist. She was blessed with the opportunity to kick-start her career at Inspired Dentistry of Charlotte and work alongside the amazingly devoted and talented Dr. Selden. Her hobbies include traveling, working out, and shopping. She is also excited to be welcoming a new addition to her family in 2024!
Deisy has been part of the dental field for over 10 years and has proudly been a member of Dr. Selden’s team since 2020. She enjoys building genuine relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable, welcomed, and confident in their dental care. Outside of the office, Deisy is a proud mom who loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, and enjoying time with her animals. She is grateful to be part of such a wonderful team and looks forward to making every patient’s experience a positive one.
Deisy has been a member of the dental community for seven years. She joined our team in 2020 and has developed into our Lead Dental Assistant. She assists Dr. Selden in all restorative and reconstruction cases.
She loves to spend time with her spouse and her 4 kids which 2 of them are 4 pawed fur babies.
She also loves to go to the beach and mountains with her family.
Kierra feels blessed to have joined IDOC in September of 2023. She is a devoted mother to her 2-year-old son, Bishop, who fills her heart with joy. Kierra takes great pride in her role as a mother and a member of our team. Witnessing the health and happiness of our patients is truly rewarding to Kierra and it reinforces her passion for the meaningful work we do every day. In her downtime, you’ll likely find Kierra exploring activities around Charlotte with her son. Whether it’s a local park adventure, a family-friendly event, or just quality time at home, Kierra cherishes these moments of connection and discovery.
LaSandra is a dedicated dental assistant with 12 years of experience in the dental field. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for every patient and takes pride in helping others feel confident about their oral health. Outside of the office, LaSandra enjoys spending time with her children, furthering her education, and pursuing her passion in healthcare. She believes that exceptional dental care goes beyond the treatment—it’s about making every patient feel valued, cared for, and at home.
Melanie has been working in the dental field since 2019 and enjoys being one of the first friendly faces patients see when they visit the office. She loves connecting with patients, helping things run smoothly, and making each visit a positive experience. Originally from Georgia, Melanie now enjoys life in Charlotte with her teenage son. Outside the office, she loves cheering him on at sporting events, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors.

Stephanie began her career as a Dental Scheduler in 2024, bringing several years of customer service experience and a passion for helping others. She enjoys creating a welcoming experience for patients and making sure they feel comfortable, valued, and confident in their care. Outside of work, Stephanie loves spending time with her family and furr baby, traveling, and exploring new places. She also enjoys taking salsa classes, trying new things, and making the most of her free time.
